Lohana 203- All Out
H,Dassani 5-63 M.Freeman 3-63
Twickenham 180- 4
A.Burden 62 - N.Walder – 47*
J.Gordon 20*
As I have left my scorebook somewhere in the club house I will only type what I can memorise.
Twickenham’s very own Lohana and skipper Hinay Dassani won the toss and elected to field respectively. He opened the bowling with Joe Gordon. Both started off well and the first break through arrived on the 4th over where Joe bowled a full clean and straight delivery.
After having a good start Joe Gordon struggled to get grips of his rhythm and was replaced by fourth and third rookie Matt Freeman. Lohana were now lying on 40 odd. Matt Freeman instantly made an impact by getting a wicket on his first delivery. It was clean bowled with a bit of away swing. Two deliveries following it was furthermore boost for the T’s as Freeman clean bowled posh spice for a duck who only lasted two balls. Posh spice was not a happy bunny which definitely encouraged Crouchy to have a few words of wisdom for him!
Dassani also claimed his first wicket of the game and it was a stunning catch from Joe Gordon at the covers. This was definitely in contention to be one of the best catches of the season. The Lohana number 3 departed on about 20 odd. Dassani instantly got a second wicket and it was a shocking and absolutely stunning catch from Les at first slip. A low one handed diving catch was enough to get Lohana’s Sri Lanken number 4 out. This was also one of the catches of the season as everyone was out of words.
Lohana managed to get one of their second team players in the team and T’s were not really allowing to get on strike and that lead to him getting frustrated which was a huge advantage as he looped the balls towards the mid off region and it was Dassani who ran in and took a forward diving catch. That is now three good catches despite Dassani’s catch being labelled as a regulation by the BNP superstars Les and Wilf.
Dassani then bowled a full toss which the number 6 did not pick accurately and Joe Gordon was yet again underneath to catch it. What a fantastic display he was having yet again on the field. Then the number 7 was clean bowled and departed very quickly with Dassani now on a 4fer.
After this Harmeet had an 8 over stint and also clean bowled Lohana’s skippers Amit who batted well to be fair as he supported Rami who hit a 50. Harmeet bowled really well yet again and illustrated his talent with some superb spin bowling. Hendo also had a stint and did quite well too. Matt Freeman had a second spell but unfortunately a few edges that went to the 3rd man region boundary added more vital runs for Lohana. The innings sealed off when Dassani got to his 5fer all courtesy to a well judged catch from Harmeet Singh at the boundary who again fails to drop a catch. Lohana ended their innings on 203- All Out.
The second innings started and it was Lohana who sparked first as Gilbert played onto his stumps. It was unlucky for Gilbert as he has been dynamite this season. Matt Freeman joined Nick Walder at the crease and both were looking very solid by playing off the good balls and dispatching any given width or short deliveries. Lohana became very quiet as Nick and Matt just did not look like they were going to get out but the skipper Amit raised Lohana’s spirits as Matt was well caught at Mid off. He departed on a decent 15 which was a real shame as he looked like getting big runs. Good effort Matt!
In form chav Andy Burden arrived to the crease looking to keep the flow of his wonderful form. After an edgy start he kept his composure and both he and Nick went to have a very big partnership. Lohana were getting very worried and put a lot of fielders on the boundary. That still wasn’t enough for the chav as he cut, drove and pulled everything away to the boundary and gave each bowler a bit of spanking. He got to his half century very quickly and yet again it was another fantastic display from the 16 year old who blessed us with another fabulous knock. However after smashing a few boundaries all over the park as he departed on 60 odd.
In at number 5 was Les looking to help T’s get the winning draw. Les hit a few crisp boundaries and ran a few singles but he was caught and bowled by the bowler. I think his hands may hurt for a week or 2 but he definitely stopped a destructive and lethal innings. It was a good effort from Les who started of really well. Despite only playing a few games he has been instrumental since returning back on the cricket scene. He got himself to double figures very quickly.
In came JLS at number 6
looking to show off his batting potential and he certainly did
that as he hit 5 very quick boundaries which lead to him getting

looked more disappointed than Twickenham. They did not obtain 1st

I would like to thank everyone for their efforts in the 5’s this season. I am going to distribute an email just to point out all the positives that have occurred this season.
The day ended with another spectacular and immense performance from the Big Tackle. The pavilion was rocking once more and that was really and truly the icing on the cake. Good luck to everyone during the winter and lets bring on another fabulous season!

Jonty Moments- catches
from Les, Joesph, Hinay and Harmeet and hard working performances
on the field from Crouchy and Gilbert
Monty Moments- one or
two went through Les’s legs and a few wrong judged dummy’s has
secured the Monty moments. But to be fair to him his catch will
have to cancel this.

I cant blaadaay
belaaavee that is the last chance I will get to baaay orrible to
the 5ifth tame. But I will be a bit generous. Fank you for every1

all made yourself look like monks but at the end of the day you
made me look good as a club captin. We managed to send aaaattt
sides all froughout the season. Now I am just gonna slag of a few
players that I just ate and I fink they are diabolical to crickit.
Inay Dassannayyy- E is
absouloute monk. Bowls imself 20 overs from 1 end and bowls out
monk batsman. Les told me e got one of the most idious 5fer hauls
off all times. Serves im right as I fink im and Olger are the most
orrendous bowlers and skippers.
Endo- I fink e is a
posh twit. If anything I fink e should get a Polish Visa change is
name to Endo ZAVALOSK and skipper their international crikit team.
If there was a blaady orrendous 11 e can skipper that 2 with Inay,
Gilly, Matt Bendelow and Armeet in that side.
Crouchaay- I avent
spoken about im much this year but don’t fink you blaady doing a
ranna because ima destroy yaa naaa. Crouchy batting at numaa
thraayyyy…..DIA BLAADY BOLICAL……Hez avin a wobble if he finks e is
a batsman. If e can bat three then I can blaady bat one anded.
Armeet Singh- Im gonna
ave this Afghan Fella. E reckons e is 16 years old but im going to
raid iz ouse in Southall or Ilford and check ez Kaboul documents.
When e bowls e tries to be a bit of that Arbajan Singh. Doing the
blaady bhangra before e releases the crikit ball.
Joe Gowdon- Can’t even
eat me Sundiee Roast because of im. He is definitely a bit of a
fairy as e is a JLS wannabe. Absolutely ORRENDOUS!
Uzzi Khan- Next time me
pay cheque arrives Ima make suree that I buy im a ole case of lynx
and a shower. E is diabolical.
Ave a great wintaaa and
