Saturday 12th June 2010 5s v Richmond 5s

The unbeaten record finally came to an end against Richmond at Broom Road. It was simply not the T’s day as Richmond dictated the whole game and won comprehensively with some very class batting, fielding and bowling. Our boys gave it the best they could but it was just not enough as Richmond played with real strength. We did show the right attitude all throughout the game and I know for sure we will bounce back from this. The title dream is still on!

Man of the match- Jahangir Malik

Thanks for Coming- I think we should all appreciate each others presence and company but Rishi take a bow son.

Jonty Moment- the skipper does not usually include himself but another decent catch was enough to reward him with this award.

Monty Moment- there were quite a few Monty moments and Sanjay Rawal is the usual suspect of dropping catches and Shibu with a few dummies through the legs!

Jonno Cockny Column: I tell you what that 5th tame are blaady owful. Ow can they lose to Richmond. I ope that Inay does not take it aaat on me because I ad naffin to do wiv it. I mane Gilbert wasn’t ganna it a blaady alf century e was betta off with me as a TAY AF CAY( TFC). I tell you wot that shibu, Joe Gowdon, that big Pakistanay fella Majid and Endo are orrendous for turning up to their ground by the 281. That is blaady shambles.
