Twickenham Ladies lose their
winning form
Defeat in their first league match.
Twickenham Ladies lost their winning form on Sunday to
Hursley Park, Hampshire by just 15 runs. Having
scuttled Hursley out for a modest total of 125 with some
good bowling by Charlotte Gallagher 3 for 16 from 8.4
overs, ably supported by Charley Hall 2 for 9 and Sunny
Pottay 2 for 15 plus two superb run outs, it was
disappointing that the Twickenham bats could not muster
the required runs. Playing one short due to a player
unavoidably pulling out at the last minute, Kat Dickens
was top scorer with 26, if you don't count the 31 extras.
With only Ann Baker and Tee Hollingsbee making double
figures Twickenham were all out for 110 in the 38th over
with Emily Carden taking 4 wickets.
