The first X1 dismissed North Middlesex for 205 in 52 overs. Warwick Paull snaring 5 wickets and Pete Carey 4. The T's never got the chance to chase the home side's total and had to settle for 1 point for the abandonment. The 2nd X1 amassed 260 on Twickenham Green against Indian Gymkhana before bad light (and a chance of winning) stopped Gymkhana taking the field to chase the total. Aly Vokes with a typically powerful 94 , Jimmy Liebenberg an ascetically pleasing 30 and Butcher Dave Barton's brutal 58 provided the main contributions. The 3rd X1 posted 200 in 48 overs against Southgate and reduced the visitors to 76-3 before the rain came. Read the match report HERE. Weekend Review (13/05/07) - The 2007 League season is finally got underway on Saturday in blustery conditions as the T's found themselves playing at the furthest points of the County. The 1st X1 played their first ever County League match away at Barnet B's and ran out with a winning draw as they dominated most phases of play but were unable to weedle out the last few B's wickets. The T's Lookalikes are back. First up, new boy Fraser Donaldson

Weekend Review (07/05/07) - Another mixed weekend for the T's as they picked up 2 wins and 2 defeats on Saturday and endured a narrow defeat in a high scoring encounter on Sunday. Perhaps, most importantly it was the 1st X1 that recorded the most encouraging win, over near neighbours Kew. Newly promoted into the Home Counties Division 2 West, Kew were a stern test for the T's with their new import Grenadan opening bowler Thomas proving difficult on the notoriously two paced Kew deck. The T's dismissed Kew for 190 in their 45 overs and passed the home side's effort for the loss of 6 wickets. The 2's suffered a bad defeat to Kew's 2nd string on the Green. After only posting 180 odd on Twickenham Green it was always going to be a tall order to defend and so it proved as the visitors cruised past the T's total with the loss of only 1 wicket. The 3's lost narrowly to Kingstonian, a side that included 6 first X1 players of good standard. Read the match report HERE. The 4th X1 started their season with an encouraging victory over Chiswick & Latymer's 3rd X1. On Sunday the Club X1 narrowly failed to chase down Old Rutlishians massive 270 total and fell 10 runs short. Richie Saunders with 70 and 3 wickets the main performer. No match reports for any matches have been submitted yet. The Ladies X1, despite a streaker alert won their first league match of the season against Rowledge. read the match report HERE.

Weekend Review (30/04/07) - A mixed weekend for the T's as they racked up 3 victories out of 3 on Saturday but lost both matches on Sunday. On Saturday the 1st X1 enjoyed a comfortable victory over Old Rutlishians. Read the match report HERE. The second eleven also enjoyed a win over Old Rut's second string. Read the match report HERE and see the scorecard HERE. The 3rd X1 also enjoyed a 36 run victory away to Royal Ascot 2nd X1. Read the match report HERE. On Sunday the 1's crashed out of the National knockout at the first hurdle losing to Ashford by 19 runs. Fielding first the T's basics were poorly performed and aided by a fantastic 130* from Evans Ashford were able to post an imposing 266 from their 45 overs. In reply the T's after being 0-2 made a good fist of the chase ending up 17 short. Improvement is required in the field where the 30 or so runs given away in the field ultimately cost the T's passage into round two. Sunday Club X1 endured a disappointing defeat to Streatham & Marlborough on Twickenham Green. Read the match report HERE. Season Starts With a Win Over Acton (21/04/07) - The 2007 season kicked off in style as a mixed T's 1st X1 defeated Acton at the Park Club. With conditions nearer mid June than April the T's fielded first in a 45 over clash. Lively opening bursts from Justin Scriven and Jimmy Liebenberg were well supported by Andy and Mark Ryan, Carlos Nunez and Warwick Paull. But it was Dimitri Nicolaides that took three wickets alongside the impressive Liebenberg (5 for 18). The home side were bowled out in the 44th over for 145. An excellent effort including some excellent ground fielding. In reply the T's got off to a brisk start with Mark Ryan (28) and Ben Parer setting a good platform. Paull fell cheaply and Nunez fell first ball to leave the T's with a rebuilding job to do. Steve Vanierkerk took the attack to the home side and alongside the classy stroke play of Liebenberg (31) the T's moved over the 100 mark. A couple of wickets put a temporary halt to the visitors charge, but Nicolaides and Andy Ryan steadied the ship and alongside Scriven took the T's over the line as the T's passed the home side's score with 7 wickets down. An excellent start to the season with massive positives to take from the performance.

Sunday Club X1 Ease Into 2007 with Comfortable Win (22/04/07) - The 2007 season kicked off in comfortable fashion for the Sunday club X1 as they defeated Englefield Green by 98 runs in a 40 over contest. Making first use of the Englefield track the T's posted 251 for 7 from their 40 overs, largely due to all rounders James Jordan (77 not out) and Srinjoy De (55 not out), alongside an earlier contribution from Simon Hawley (29). Green were always going to find this total a big ask and so it proved as they were dismissed for 153. Chief destroyers were leg spin twins Fraser Donaldson (5 for 53) and Dave Henderson (2 for 38). Jacques Grobler also snaring 2 wickets. Newly elected 5th X1 skipper Holger Kriess finished the match with the enviable figures of 1 ball 1 wicket. An enjoyable run out for the Sunday Club X1, however surely a sterner test awaits next Sunday as the Club X1 entertain Streatham & Marlborough, whilst the 1st X1 will be battling Ashford in the first round of the ECB National Knockout.
