The MDL is an important part of the cricketing summer. Our young players really enjoy playing in the competition, so we're already looking forward to 2018

The 2018 cricket season got a step closer on 20 December with the publication of the MDL fixtures.

TCC have a proud history in what's become an established part of the cricketing cycle, winning the inaugural MDL title and coming runners up in 2016.

In 2018 the Ts find themselves in a six team group with a host of local rivals. They kick off by travelling to Chiswick on 24 June, and then follow that with games against Wycombe House (A), Osterley (H), Indian Gym (A), Shepherd's Bush (H) before meeting Chiswick (H) again on 29 July.

Over the last two years the Ts have been very ably led by Nikhil Nomula. The sands of time are nonetheless ticking, and Nikhil - on account of now being an over-age player - will be passing the mantle of captaincy on to one of the younger players for this coming year. The club would like to thank Nikhil for all of his efforts; being a captain is not easy and he has led the troops splendidly.
