The first match report from the weekend's cricketing action comes from the twos (see here); Nakul Vishvanath stepped up to the plate and has produced a lowdown of events across the borough at Lonsdale Road in Barnes.

To be fair to Nakul, he put his hand up to be this week's scribe on Friday. So, that's before he went on not only to notch an unbeaten half century but also to claim three wickets with the ball. Respect due to him that the opportunity to brag about his own very good day has been overlooked. Perhaps there's also a wider lesson here - volunteer to write a match report and you suddenly run in to excellent form yourself. Just a thought.
