Ts give it a good go, but ultimately fall 30 runs short

If anyone can name the Led Zeppelin song referenced in the report, you have a beer on me. Away you go ...
- Phil Walker

The 5ths long mid-season unbeaten run may well now be a thing of the past, but of late they have still been putting in excellent performances against good sides. Week 14 saw Phil Walker's Wonders run Ealing Vs (top of the table) close, whilst this week they fell just short against second-placed Acton IVs (see the card here).

Special mention to Gilbert Sanchez this week. The Singaporean legend has been a playing member of the club for 40 years (!) and once again he illustrated that for him it's club first everything else second. As Phil said in his report, every respect to Brother Gilbert for the effort he has put in over the years.

On the field, we have news of hibernating giraffes, ladies' lacrosse games and yet more discussion of helicopters. There is also once again a beverage of your choice up for grabs for anyone who can solve the music trivia riddle in Phil's report (see here). Enjoy!
