Friendlies and the National KO on the agenda in what's going to be a busy cricketing weekend

Two days, four games of cricket; the cricket season's finally arrived

The rain has finally stopped and the cricket can - albeit a week late - commence!

Saturday sees two TCC senior teams in action. The ones welcome Surrey neighbours East Molesey to the Green. The clubs have met regularly over the years on Sundays and the games have always been enjoyable encounters. Gurjit Sandhu will be leading what looks a decent TCC side in to action. OP Jakub Buhla will be having his first run out in England and the club wishes the MCCC Young Cricketer all the very best.

Twos hit the road
Eugene Berger's second XI make the short journey down to Hampton Court to face East Molesey's second XI. As ever with pre-season friendlies, the side has something of a fresh look about it with Berger giving debuts to no less than five players. Greg Buchanan, Ethan Wright, Jay Plaha, Harman Deep Singh and Hayden Tyler, welcome on board!

Sunday sees the National Knockout roll in to town
The Ts have a home tie in the first round of the National Knockout, welcoming Harrow St Mary's to the Green on Sunday. A strong looking TCC side will be hoping to use the good weather to make hay whilst the sun shines. Don Manuwlege makes his seasonal bow in TCC colours, returning after a year with Osterley.

Sunday XI off to Kew
The Sunday XI also kick start their 2018 campaign this weekend. Steve Watts will be leading the troops, and a number of Saturday 3rd XI stalwarts will be donning the whites for the first time this year. Kev Cavilla returns to the place where he scored a scintillating century last season, whilst the likes of JP Bowman and Coach Cowley will be looking to hit the respective ground running.
