Only 149 days to cricket season ....

With both MCCL and 1987 League having now released the fixtures for 2018 season,it gives T's teams an idea of how to plot their respective paths to glory!

With the top 3 teams all now playing in a higher division, some new, and some old rivalries, will commence.

1's are back in Premier League, and start off with a trip to Arden Field to play Finchley, with 2's,fresh from their 2nd Div title win, taking on Finchley's 2nd string on The Green in their return to 2nd XI Prem..
2017 Div 3 Champions,3's, kick start life in Div 2 with a trip to play Acton.
4's are also entertaining Finchley in the shape of their 4's at Broom Rd,,whereas 5's kick off their campaign with a trip to Lohana 3's.

Week 2 and 3 sees the first of 2 mouth watering local derbies for 1's,with Teddington and Richmond, respectively, visiting The Green.
2's play the return fixtures, making the short trips to Bushey Park and Old Deer Park, respectively.
3's play their first home game in week 2 when North London visit St Mary's. They then make the long trip to Hornsey in week 3.
4's replicate 1's and 2's in week 2,also facing off against Teddington, and visiting Bushey Park to play their 4's. Week 3 sees them travel to Indian Gym to face their 4's.
5's have 2 home games in weeks 2 and 3. First up it's South Hamptead 4's turn to visit Broom Rd,with Richmond 5's having the honour the following week.

Jumping onto the business end of the season. 1's will be hoping they're challenging for honours by the time they face Brondesbury at The Green in week 17,and travel to Prem new boys Highgate in week 18.
2's visit Highgate the week before, and bring the curtain down on their season with a visit from Hampstead.
3's end with a visit from Bron's 3's,and finish up with a trip to Harrow St Mary's.
4's finish up by playing two 3rd xi's,with a trip to play Harrow, followed up by hosting Perivale Phoenicians.
5's end up with 2 potentially tricky encounters, hosting Alexandra Park's 3's,and then finishing with a visit to play Kenton 4's.

So there you have the beginnings and ends to what we all hope is a season that brings as much success and enjoyment as 2017 delivered.

Obviously, there's plenty more action taking place in the middle of these games, and the full fixture lists will be posted in due course,so that you can all cancel any holiday and wedding invitations you may have, with time to spare... ;-)
