New initiative for the 2019 season

We're open to all comments, suggestions and questions on the first edition of the podcast. Do fire them in.
- Eugene Berger

Earlier this week Twickenham CC published its very first podcast. You can hear it here.

Eugene Berger, the club's unofficial digitisation Tsar, Kev Cavilla and Dan Hough are driving the initiative forward and the aim is to publish a podcast once every couple of weeks. Each edition will be around half an hour long and the guys will aim to meander their way through a range of cricket-related issues.

Broadly speaking, the Twickenham Troika are trying to do two things. Firstly, it's an opportunity for Euge, Kev and Dan simply to talk about club-related news. They will try to get details of new events out plus, as the season develops, they'll analyse Middlesex Cricket more generally. Secondly, it's also an opportunity to talk about bigger and broader issues in the cricketing world - and if listeners have any comments or questions then the guys will do their best to deal with them, too.

The first podcast does indeed manage to cover a range of eclectic topics

- Will Australia really end up being as bad in the Ashes Series as they have been against India?
- Will England finally win a Cricket World Cup? (Spoiler; no one was brave enough to answer 'yes')
- A detailed analysis of the brutal end to Kev Cavilla's squash career

Please do have a listen. You may think it's great, you may think it is dullness personified. But you won't know unless you listen, so do give it a try.
