Ts come off second best against Richmond

Being out of all cup competitions does now at least save us from having to worry about lots of players having to deal with potentially expensive divorce proceedings

A depleted Twickenham side travelled to Richmond in the Middlesex Cup on the 10 June. Rhys Davies stepped up to lead the troops as the Ts did their best to mix and match their way to getting 11 men on the field.

That they successfully did, but a much stronger Richmond XI still cruised in to the quarter-finals (see here for the card). Varum Sivaram was the star of the bowling show, claiming 2-44 at the top of the order, whilst Mesome Hussain (33) and Nikhil Nomula (24) offered the most resistance with the bat.

Getting knocked out of all the cups does, of course, now enable everyone to concentrate on the league. All good, bring on next week.
