The last hurray of the 2019 Cricket Week sees the Ts welcome Old Wimbledonians to Twickenham Green. Following a fair portion of all day cricket the Friday fixture reverts to the quick and dirty T20 format.

Wimbledonians are having an excellent season in the Surrey Championship Division 3. They currently top the pile, 41 points ahead of second placed Epsom. Given that there are only five weeks of the season left they are all set for their first promotion in over a decade.

In recent times plenty of players have donned the colours of both sides. 2nd XI skipper Eugene Berger is an Old Wimbledonian, whilst Ashley Gray, Simon Dunning and Clint McCabe are all currently plying their trade in SW20.

Indeed, one current Wimbledonian - Brandon McCabe - has also turned out for the Ts both in the MDL and indeed in Cricket Week (on Monday against Redditch). Let's hope his batting is a little less pivotal than it was on Monday (see here for Monday's card).
