If your son/daughter is in years 1-3 or in F2 or Reception, then there's no better way to introduce them to cricket than via the Allstars programme. You can now reserve a place for 2024 All Stars by going to the Shop Section
You will need to register as a member of the club and then register your child/children to sign up.
The ECB process has been slightly delayed for a few weeks. We are keen to start our registration process in advance, so please reserve your space now
What is Allstars?
Allstars is English cricket's way of introducing young children to the game. It's fast, it's fun and its friendly. And it's open to everyone between the ages of 5-8.
Your son/daughter gets a personalised playing shirt in 2024 owing to issues with the previously supplied equipment. That all gets sent directly to you. In terms of cost, the programme costs £70 in total; £30 gets paid straight to the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and you pay the other £40 directly to Twickenham CC later on. We'd argue that 12 sessions, a load of kit and truck loads of fun on Twickenham Green all for that price represents a decent deal.
How do I get involved?
Most clubs offer eight weeks of Allstars cricket. At Twickenham we go bigger than that - we offer 12! However, the ECB's website isn't able to deal with that, so it says that Allstars begins early in May. Nope, at Twickenham CC it's 28th April (and our programme finishes on 14th July). The sessions are on Sunday mornings, nominally 10am - 11am. We generally run on until around the 11:30 mark. So, you really are getting more than you would elsewhere!
Places will go quickly. If you've any questions on Allstars, do just get in touch with either Liam Tebb (lktebb@hotmail.com) or Dan Hough (d.t.hough@sussex.ac.uk) a line. They'll do their best to help.
