Thamby continues to lead the way
Dom Thamby continues to set the pace in the Twickenham CC fantasy league (see here for the league table). The T Rex’s lead has been cut to 18 points, but he’s still on top and setting the pace.

Thamby’s skipper, Nikhul Nomula, set the tone by amassing 78 points, and there were helpful contributions from Hinay Dassani (65), Rashid Mullazahdah (58) and Monty Panesar (55).

It’s nonetheless getting tighter at the top with four sides within 38 points of the T Rex. Steve Cowley’s ‘Coach Cowley’s XI’ had the best week, piling up an impressive 575 points. That sees Cowley leap up into 5th place overall. Rob Rigby (121) and captain Monty Panesar (110) were the driving forces there, although Blake van der Linde’s 71 was also decidedly useful.

Uzzi Khan top Week 6 performer
In terms of individual player performances, Uzzi Khan (227 points) is now officially the MVP in terms of batters. Impressive stuff from the 4th XI stalwart. Hinay Dassani (361) leads the bowlers and Don Manuwelge (220) is the top all rounder. Carlos Nunes (235) is the highest scoring keeper with Deep Dasgupta (121) now narrowly in second place ahead of Prabhu Dhev (119).

The week’s top scoring player was the ever-reliable Praween Siriwardena with 127 points. That saw him nudge the impressive Rigby (121) in to second place. Callam Goldthorp (55), Nakul Vishvanath (53), Gurjit Sandhu (47) and Chinni Devabhaktuni (44) also had quietly efficient weeks.
