The TCC Women ended the 2025 season with an impressive performance against Dulwich (see here for the card). Aditi Sahoo was very much to the fore, although a number of other players chipped in nicely.
Ts' bowlers all come to the party
The TCC Women's tenth and final league game of the season saw them ultimately end up with their most resounding win. That win sees them end with five wins and five defeats, and third place in the Surrey Women's Cricket League, Division Three North (see here for the table). Good stuff.
Dulwich batted first. They put 109 on the board. Miranda Ullman (20 off 52 balls) was the cornerstone of that, although Amanda Pitt also added 19 (31 balls).
The Ts' bowling attack started positively and continued to do a decent job all through the 30 overs they spent in the field. Betty Cassidy took the new ball and ended up with 1-4 off five overs. Parsimonious in the extreme.
It was nonetheless Aditi Sahoo who stepped up to cause the Dulwich batters the most problems. She ended with an impressive 4-9 off her five overs.
Priti Dey (1-22) and the mercurial Karen Wilton (1-17) also chipped in, whilst Emily Cramby (0-16) didn't claim any scalps but she still gave little away. The same can be said for Ursula Ogden (0-23). All good.
Sahoo runs riot
Batting-wise, Aditi Sahoo opened and she proceeded to cause total carnage. She scored 61 off just 36 balls and jet-propelled the Ts towards their target.
Fellow opener Kate Aldridge was much more sanguine in her approach, and she was perfectly content to watch the fireworks from the other end. She was 16no (off just 22 balls) when the Ts reached their total.
Shout outs too to Ursula Ogden (a quickfire 15 off 10 balls) and Betty Cassidy (not out at the end) for also doing their respective bits.
All in all, a really impressive victory by the Ts. Onwards and upwards to 2026.
