Malden Wanderers prove too strong for Hannah Munday's team

We move on. That's the sum total of my analysis of this one :-)
- Hannah Munday

The Twickenham CC Women's XI started their 2024 SWCL campaign at Malden Wanderers on 12 May. And, they came home very much silver medalists.

Twickenham had five debutants in their XI and new skipper Hannah Munday was well aware that it was going to take a bit of time for the team to gel together. Nowhere was that more evident than in the Ts' batting; five ducks tells its own story.

Only Adita Sahoo really got into the swing of things, although number 10 Kate Aldridge did also knuckle down at the end. Did they get enough on the board to test Malden out? Nope, the hosts swept home by 10 wickets.

You win some you lose some. One thing's for sure, the Ts don't have long to lick their wounds. They are in action again this coming Sunday when they travel to Streatham & Marlborough.
